Our Mission
At The Big Aunties, our mission is to provide compassionate postpartum support to new mothers. We focus on helping immigrant and Black communities during the crucial early weeks after childbirth.
Our Story
The Big Aunties was born from a simple truth: motherhood is easier and more joyful with trusted support. Founder Kennedy Odeh saw how many immigrant mothers struggled without their own mothers, sisters, or aunties nearby. From this need, The Big Aunties was created, a service that offers the warmth of family, no matter where you live.

We aim to bridge the gap for new mothers—especially immigrants who cannot bring their relatives
due to visa restrictions. Our mission is to provide the warmth, wisdom, and hands-on care that

Kennedy Odeh – Founder & CEO of The Big Aunties
Kennedy Odeh is a passionate advocate for immigrant mothers navigating the beautiful yet challenging journey of welcoming a new baby in a new country. Drawing from firsthand experiences within diverse communities, Kennedy recognised a critical gap — many mothers long to have a trusted family member by their side, but visa, travel, and cultural barriers make it difficult.
With The Big Aunties, Kennedy aims to recreate that warm, trusted presence through a network of experienced women who offer not only practical newborn care but also emotional support rooted in cultural understanding. His vision is to ensure no mother feels alone during the delicate postpartum period — regardless of where she lives.
